Negar Kashian is an Iranian artist, she completed her degree in graphic arts in 2001.
Followed by her education she focused on painting and enjoys teaching and training the new generation of graphic artists and designers.
Negar was active as teacher in the period from 2003 till 2009 at the Behzad Institute of Graphic Arts and the Hafezieh Arts & Centre from 2007 to 2009. Next to her job as a teacher, Negar also had her own art gallery in Karaj (Iran). Here she also organizes her own private workshops from 2004 to 2009.
During her teaching and exhibition’s she focused on paintings and the traditional coffee house paintings, using oil and acryl paintings techniques.
She graduated in 2009 for her Bachelor degree of Graphic Arts in Karaj.
During her years as graphical artist she received a distinction award from the province of Hamedan at a ceremony to honor selected students in Arts & Culture. Her paintings have been at several major worldwide exhibitions, in Canada, Netherlands and of course Iran
(Ferdowsi Gallery in Tehran and the BooAli Sina Centre in Hamedan).
In addition to these expositions she has been recognized as one of the best artist and received several distinction awards.
Currently she is enhancing her skills and techniques as artist at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague (The Netherlands). She also is active as teacher in Ridderkerk in the western of country, where she weekly organizes painting workshops.
Negar is still very ambitious and continuously inspired to combine her Iranian art skills with new techniques like working with ceramic and other materials.
At his moment the Art of Negar Kashian is still exposed in worldwide expositions.
